This was the first ever Wicked Wahine Bowl Series contest. Put together by Tammy "BamBam" Tangalin and Liz "Biscuits" Brandenburg, the contest was specifically aimed at women pool riders.

Sponsors such as Etnies, Skaterade, Punk Rock Skateboards, Sacrifice, Concrete Disciples as well as others came out to represent at the contest.

The women were just killing the park! Mimi took best honors with her smooth style and big bag of tricks, including inverts, airs and rock slides. The other pros tore up the oververt pocket with grind after grind. Amateur, Apryl Woodcock constantly wowed the crowd with her huge arsenal of gnarly tricks, most of which she busted on the oververt pocket. And 8-year old Lexi Barclay took the Grom first prize by utilizing every part of the bowl and with minimal bails. All in all, a great day at Glendale.

It was an awesome contest and everybody is looking forward to the next of many "Bowl Series" events. Many thanks to Tammy, Liz and all the sponsors who came out to support the women.
